Cahercalla Watermain Rehabilitation Project

The work took place along R475 of approximately 1000m of old PVC and aged cast iron watermain. The new watermain was installed by cut open trenching and lay. A large majority of these works were carried out under extensive traffic management in order to minimise disruption to the traffic. Throughout the project, there was considerate effort put into making the project both accessible for both householders and personnel working on the project. These works were carried out to a high standard and in line with Clare County Council and Irish Water regulations.
