Main Street Hospital
Watermain rehabilitation

These works took place along Main St Hospital and adjoining roads nearby. These works involved approx. 2000m of the installation of distribution and trunk of HDPE watermains. The watermain was installed by open cut technique, a small percentage was HDD technique and by pipe bursting. 

A large number of services and connections were replaced. A large majority of these works were carried out under extensive traffic management in order to minimise disruption. These works were carried out to a high standard and in line with Limerick County Council and Irish Water Standards.
