Wexford Primary Care Centre

Phase 1: The works involved all ground, civil and concrete works for the construction of approx. 3,700m2 two story primary care centre. The works involved the rock breaking and excavation of approx. 20,000cum of excessively hard rock. Works included the removal of substantial quantities of rock over the entire footprint of the new building while also removing and disposing of Japanese Knotweed .Due to high infestation of Japanese Knotweed, extensive care had to be taken  which included exclusion zones installed for loading trucks prior to the  removal. The works also involved the installation of a pre cast firefighting tank and perimeter retaining wall.

The works also involved construction of a new car park as well as connecting new facility to existing services, pedestrian and vehicle access roads, landscaping and boundary treatments.

Phase 2: On Completion of phase 1, the next phase of works included the removal of Asbestos present as per report provided and the demolition of the existing HSE Healthcare centre and thus creating additional carpark spaces for HSE staff.
